Jose is the best! I broke my tibia, was unable to walk or put any pressure on my foot. My orthopedist ordered X-rays each a month apart, Jose actually came to the house for both. What a relief because I could not get out! He is flexible with appointments, also arriving in the early evening if needed. Jose is not only professional but packs an awesome personality. I admired his kindness, the respect he showed me and his ability to make me feel at ease. Kudos to you my friend—you were a bright light during a dark period, and I thank you❤️

I'm a long time resident here on Avenue D, Jacob Riis to be exact. This Center was desperately needed in the community. Women keep low-income communities running. A fact that needs to be respected. So I certainly hope that that continues to be honored and not hijacked by the patriarchy that is benefiting from the Center's services. Keep your power to yourselves Women. This Center's services has elevated the community into Self-care and self sufficiency. Adhering to hunger, clothing, and especially mental health. It still needs support and progress to completely fulfill its purpose. In the beginning too many young women were there. They've done good work and determination. But they needed multi-generations there to give it fortitude. I see that unfolding now. I'm proud of them.

I had the best experience at Bel Angé getting the Lifted Luxe facial! I came in after work and was greeted by the lovely manager at the front, who kindly showed me to my treatment room. Jess was my aesthetician and Lena my nurse, who were very knowledgeable in explaining how the appointment would go. During the appointment I felt relaxed, at ease, and left feeling so refreshed. My skin was glowing and visibly looked tighter, after having gotten a cupping treatment with my facial. After my appointment, I booked micro needling with Jess and skinvive, for fine lines and hydration with Lena. I am so happy to have tried this new medspa, and cant wait for my next appointments! From the initial emails and calls, we knew we hired a great crew because Emma was always super quick to respond, very thorough and very willing to set up meetings to discuss everything and anything we wanted to go over. Our lead photographer was Asya who worked with George, Kamil, and Kate. They kept us organized throughout the entire day and they managed our larger groups with such ease. They brought a sense of calmness and warmth over us from the second we met them on our wedding day. To top off all of the amazing attributes mentioned prior, they delivered the most beautiful photos/videos from our day, and we could not be happier. I had to remove a very strong and beautiful set of nails I got done in Korea, and I was honestly very nervous because I previously had a terrible experience at a nail salon in Midtown Manhattan where they over-filed my nails with a drill and damaged them.
This time, I had a much better experience. I was able to remove my old nails at a reasonable price and get a simple gel manicure. My technician, Yan** Lin, did a really great job and handled my nails with care, which I truly appreciated.
As a foreigner, I don’t use Venmo and didn’t realize the tip wasn’t included in the price, so unfortunately I wasn’t able to leave a tip. If I visit again, I will definitely make sure to tip her properly!
The style may be a bit different from the ultra-detailed Korean nail standard I’m used to, but she has a cool, slightly aloof yet cute kind of friendliness that made the experience fun and comfortable.
